Metro police head David Tembe thanks officers for their work during the election
JOHANNESBURG – Tembe thanked Metro officers for ensuring voters safety in Johannesburg on 8 May.
Metro police chief, David Tembe has thanked his members for their hard work and dedication during the elections.
Tembe said, “Officers worked long hours to ensure that traffic was properly managed, and for ensuring the safety of voters at the 853 polling stations in Johannesburg.”
He also thanked two Metro police officers for ensuring the safety of an abandoned baby found in Hillbrow, saying the baby was doing well at Charlotte Maxeke hospital.
