SANDHURST – A domestic worker has been arrested for being an accomplice in a house robbery in Sandhurst.

Gauteng police arrested a woman this past weekend (20 October) that allegedly conspired with five of her accomplices to commit a house robbery at her employer’s house in Sandhurst.

According to the Gauteng police spokesperson Captain Mavela Masondo, a case was opened shortly after the occurrence. “A case of house robbery was opened at Bramley Police Station after three women and two men stormed into a house in Sandhurst and allegedly ransacked the house in the presence of the domestic worker,” Masondo said.

With the help of a thorough investigation, police have arrested the domestic worker together with three other females and two male suspects. “The valuables that were stolen during the house robbery were found in possession of the suspects,” Masondo concluded.
