Brescia House School recently awarded the prestigious honours blazer to Grade 12 learner Avril Mugauri.
Avril is described as the perfect ambassador for Brescia House School. She is loyal to her school and is respected and admired by her peers, staff members and coaches. She is a glowing example of someone who has grasped, with both hands, the opportunities that present themselves at Brescia House School.
Last year, Avril was the recipient of no fewer than three full colours awards, namely academic, debating and a re-award of public speaking colours. She has been described by her teachers and coaches as a committed member of the public speaking and debating teams and is respected for her academic prowess and calm manner in which she approaches tasks.
As a result of her dedication to the school and its activities, her leadership ability was recognised by her fellow learners and staff, and she was awarded full colours for leadership.
