Crawford College’s Amilkar Bhana has done it again, winning the school’s golf tournament fresh off his tremendous international victory for the GolfRSA National Squad in the 13th Reply Italian International U16 Championships in Italy.
According to his mother, Amina Bhana, the aspiring pro golfer began his journey at a very young age. “Amilkar started playing golf at an early age and had to contend with exploring and experiencing his love for playing golf. From an early age, the golfing fraternity continuously communicated to us on Amilkar’s love, affinity and natural aversion for this great game.”
With the support of his parents, the Grade 8 learner has coveted podium finishes all across the country including Malaysia, Europe and the United States.
“As parents it is our conviction that we should support Amilkar’s natural golfing abilities. We are conscious that it is beyond all of us to define what the game holds for him and him for the game,” his mother concluded.
