Brescia House divers grab podium finish
SANDTON – Brescia looks forward to a prosperous sporting year ahead.
The Brescia House Primary School diving team recently dominated at the inter-schools diving competition as both teams finished on the podium. The girls proved to be stronger as team than as individuals, according to the school’s sports coordinator Christine Whindus.
The school’s B team came second to St Andrew’s while the A team came second with St Stithians Girls’ Prep.
“Brescia House School is incredibly proud of the achievement of their diving team. Under the watchful eye of their coach, Fiorella Barberini, each diver committed to an additional two early mornings, come rain or shine,” Whindus said.
