The City of Joburg Executive Mayor Geoff Makhubo briefed media at the Johannesburg Metro Centre, Braamfontein on 19 February.
The key issues that he discussed were the City’s service delivery and the operational concerns at the Johannesburg Metro Police Department (JMPD) and Emergency Management Services(EMS).

The mayor highlighted alleged abnormalities of the City’s previous administration.

Makhubu concluded the briefing by announcing the appointment of councillor Lawrance Khoza as the new MMC for the City’s Department of Development Planning.
