FitCal Night Trail Run a runaway success
WOODMEAD – The 2015 FitCal 10km Night Trail Run hit Woodmead when more than 200 runners took part in the gruelling trail race.
The race, renowned for providing challenging routes for runners, saw Edwin Sesipi take the men’s category in an impressive 00:35:45, with Sipho Ncube in second and Daniso Moyo placing third.
Estie Steyn won the women’s category in a solid 00:48:06, with Takelani Ndandani placing second and Samantha Summerscales coming in third.
Both winners won a cash prize of R2 000 each.
The trail run took place at the Country Club Johannesburg with another one scheduled to take place at the club on 21 September.
