Night challenge kicks off on 25 January

SANDTON – The 16th annual Montrose Night Challenge kicks off on 25 January.

 

It’s that time of the year again for the Montrose Night Challenge hosted at Montrose Primary School.

The annual series now in its 16th year kicks off on 25 January and supporters are welcome to attend the matches.

This exciting series features 44 teams and more than 450 players of different schools around Johannesburg, competing in cricket and netball.

In addition, two developmental sides will join in the action.

The event will run from 25 January to 8 March. The first cricket match is set to start at 1.30pm between Grayston and Rivonia primary schools. The first netball match is set to start at 4.40pm.

The official opening ceremony will take place at 5.30pm with more matches following the opening.

About 26 000 spectators are expected to attend over the course of the series which promises to be exciting.
