UPDATE: Is there a tiger in Fourways?
FOURWAYS – Reports that a tiger escaped from Montecasino are false.

UPDATE: 4 November 2016, 9:30am – It is still unknown as to how the reports of a tiger in the area surfaced.

Previous reports that a tiger was allegedly on the loose on Main Road and Witkoppen Road were false.
This comes after concerned residents contacted radio stations stating that a tiger escaped from Montecasino.
there was never any tiger on the Montecasino property.

The reports further stated that Animal rescue teams were on the scene searching for the tiger and that motorists were urged to keep their windows closed when driving around the area. A journalist is currently on his way to the scene to investigate the matter. As more information becomes available, we will update you.
