Hotel Hope Ministries children spoiled

SANDTON – Children from the Hotel hope Ministries were recently spoiled by an outing to the Hilton Hotel in Sandton.

The BabyYumYum team recently brought festive cheer to children from the Hotel Hope Ministries.

Gingerbread House Day is a delicious holiday celebrated in the United States and certain countries in Europe. Families gather together to make mouthwatering gingerbread houses in honour of the day.

The tradition of decorated gingerbread houses dates back to Germany in the 1800s. Some food historians even attribute this tasty day to the famous Grimm’s fairytale of Hansel and Gretel.

The team of BabyYumYum, an online parenting portal, together with the much-loved BabyYumYum Bear Banjo, treated orphaned children from Hotel Hope Ministries to a fun outing of special spoiling, to see the gingerbread houses in the lobby of the Hilton Hotel in Sandton.

Amanda Rogaly, chief mommy and founder of the fastest-growing parenting portal, BabyYumYum said, “In the spirit of the holiday season, we wanted to bring extra joy to the children at the Hotel Hope Ministries who have been orphaned or abandoned.”

She said the team made this a memorable outing with Banjo leading the way. “Our bear is known to bring much laughter and love to children and adults alike.

“The kids loved Banjo and we loved the kids. It was a wonderful way to start the holiday season, seeing their happy smiles and knowing that we played a part in making this time special for them.”
