He said, “This year has been like all the others as far as day to day concerns go: potholes, noise pollution, dumping, water and electricity outages, as well as a plethora of other troubling issues.”Stewart is proud to announce that after four years of hassling, the sports ground in the Alex portion of his ward, is finally being upgraded. “The Bus Rapid Transit route construction begins early next year, and although I have reservations regarding the traffic congestion during and after, some good will come from it. Specifically, the Katherine Street bridge, [which] will be widened and upgraded. A number of verges and sidewalks along the route will also be paved and curbed properly,” he said. “Next year is also election year and I would urge all residents to ensure that they are registered to vote. “The holiday season always results in a higher death toll.
