Wealth movement kicks off in Bryanston

BRYANSTON – The prevailing message at the Wealth Movement 2015 event was that the fastest way to success is to copy what works.

Guests gathered at The Forum in Bryanston to listen to local and international masters of success and wealth talk about how they made it.

“What I have learned from wealthy people is that there is a system, you can make sophisticated decisions,” said Scott Picken, entrepreneur, organiser of Wealth Movement 2015 and master of ceremonies for the event. He added that the aim of the event was to essentially empower the youth and women by giving them a platform and access to wealth structures and opportunities.

As part of the event, a panel of various successful individuals shared their success journeys with the guests.

Hennie Bezuidenhoudt, investor and company owner, said he found that the secret to success was in finding opportunities. “Timing is important,” he added.

“Don’t start something when there is no demand for it.”

Entrepreneur, Hilda Lunderstedt said her driving force in life was to always be the best. “Don’t chase the money, the money will find you,” she said.

Garth Wellman, director of investment company Caleo Capital, explained the difference between business and investment opportunities. “To make money in a business, put your opportunities in an emerging market,” he said.

“Investment is about opportunities and values.”

Author, investor and educator Dr Dolf de Roos said there were patterns when it came to success. “There is a psychology involved,” he said.

“When you understand the why, the how happens naturally. If you want to change, you have to change something within yourself.”

The event left attendees driven and inspired to start building their wealth the right way.
