Is Black Friday really worth it?

SANDTON – Black Friday is slowly approaching but is all the madness worth your time?

BUSISIWE THOABALA: I am definitely participating in Black Friday. I am looking for electronics because it can be worth it if you do your research ahead of time.

Black Friday sales continue to come at us from all different directions but as 29 November closely approaches, we asked if all the hassle is really worth it.

NICHOLAS BANDA: I do think that Black Friday prices are worth it because it gives people who are disadvantaged a chance to buy the things that are kind of expensive to them.

MKONTO VULINDLELA: It is worth it because I for one have been looking for a cell phone for quite some time because I couldn’t get enough money to buy it – I’ve been saving since July.

ELIZABETH MALIN: The sales are definitely worth it because I mean, I saw a shop downstairs that will have a 50 to 75 per cent sale which is insane.

AYANDA LUBSIS: I am definitely participating in Black Friday because I am renovating my house so I am definitely looking for great deals on that and some electronics – a very big TV for my fiancé.
