In an effort to promote the spirit of love, the Proudly South African team, in collaboration with the Gautrain and Nestlé South Africa, took to Sandton’s Gautrain station to hand out complimentary roses and chocolates.
The team ventured around the station and in the streets to share a smile with as many people as they could find.

According to organiser Phumzile Xaba, this morning was simply about wishing everyone a ‘Happy Valentine’s Day’ no matter who they were or where they came from. “It is just all about sharing the love and we thought that this would be the best way to do it,” she said.
Xaba concluded that it was important to promote a sense of community. “Spreading the love is simply a different way of doing it.”
