Laughs, cheers and bright colours surrounded Crawford Sandton as learners enjoyed the Holi festival.
The preparatory school saw its campus in Benmore come alive on 6 March as learners of all ages partook in the ancient Hindu festival.
While many parents prepared traditional treats and snack for the learners, the Grade 7 class prepared poems and dances.
The Holi festival, originating in India, is known as the festival of colour or spring. It was celebrated on 9 and 10 March this year.
The occasion signifies different things for many people, namely the beginning of spring, the blossoming of love, forgiveness or a day to meet new people.
