The Sandton Police Station apprehended a 40-year-old woman in connection with the theft of a motor vehicle.
According to the station spokesperson, Captain Granville Meyer, the woman appeared in Alexandra Regional Court on 20 March. “Sandton detectives charged her as part of their investigation into an alleged theft of motor vehicle case,” he said.
He added that the accused is said to have rented a motor vehicle at a rental company in Sandton on Friday, 31 January and allegedly never returned it as agreed on in the contract with the company. The value of the vehicle is R918 000.
The Sandton Police Station management lauded the members’ efforts and commended them for their dedication to their task.
